“Ray started working with my son in Jan 2009. Where he was then: At the age of 3, able to label a lot of pictures of objects, not able to label actions, speech limited to a few cookie cutter phrases, did not really understand much of what people were telling him. Where he is now: Dr. Cecilia McCarton (during the last re-evaluation) said that he no longer meets the definition of being on the spectrum; people who are not in the field can not tell him apart from typical children; he is reading at above age appropriate level. That is not to say there no challenges left. We still have a lot of issues to deal with (behavioral, social, abstract thinking, etc.) and the road ahead is long and difficult.
But… I am very proud of my son and his accomplishments. And I know that it is only because of Ray that he has been able to make such amazing progress.
So what is so special about Ray? His immense experience allows him to problem solve and trouble shoot in an almost magical way. Ray can always find an alternative approach to solve a behavioral problem or teach things a child is struggling with. But most importantly, he cares. I once wrote Ray an email at 3AM during Christmas week. I was very concerned about my son at that time and really poured out my heart to him. Ray responded within 3 hours and was in my house the next day, figuring out how to fix the latest problem.
Another amazing thing about Ray is his office manager. I am a senior officer in one of the major financial corporations. And I can honestly tell you that I have not come across too many people with such administrative talent.
So… good luck to you, I hope Ray can do for your child what he is doing for mine.”

“Our family began working with Randi when our son entered preschool. We were hoping to find someone who would help us maintain consistency between our son’s home and school teams, and ensure that he was making appropriate progress in all developmental domains. Randi delivered this, but we never expected that she would have such a significant impact on our life in general. She has enabled us to see that we hold the key to our son’s future, and through hard work and dedication, we can help him reach his fullest potential. Working with Randi has made us more informed than we ever imagined we could be, which has empowered us to make significant gains in our sons life, inside and outside of the classroom. Randi is professional, honest, and compassionate. She is always there to listen and creatively troubleshoot, and when things are not working, she is not afraid to make the necessary changes. She holds her clients and their teams to a high standard, but if you follow through, she will be with you to tackle every obstacle that comes your way, while simultaneously celebrating each and every accomplishment that her efforts have allowed.” + E.F., Manhasset
We have known Ray Cepeda since our daughter was four years old. Having felt abandoned by many, and with little recourse we requested his assistance. He entered into our lives with compassion and understanding of our situation. Ray committed himself to our daughter’s case with a level of dedication we had never seen before. Ray not only provided emotional comfort and relief for us the parents, by educating us, he motivated the educators involved in our daughter’s case and provided them with a greater feeling of self worth. In doing this, our daughter benefited from her services and made improvements in areas that she had not previously exhibited. Ray is a trusted professional with hands training and experience that is second to none.”+ Scott and Jeannine Cunningham, NY

“Ray Cepeda has provided exceptional support in every facet of our son, Andrew’s, educational and behavioral needs. Ray has evaluated and identified Andrew’s strengths and weaknesses and provided thorough documentation of appropriate service recommendations. These reports have played a major role in obtaining the necessary services from our district for Andrew’s development. Additionally, Ray’s astute knowledge of developing the proper programs and continually enhancing and adjusting based on Andrew’s needs is making a huge difference in Andrew’s skill acquisition. We are extremely glad to have Ray as a very important resource in our arsenal to help our child overcome his challenges with autism.” Ramzi, Massapequa, NY
“I knew my daughter needed additional help, but I didn’t know where to turn. I had Ray Cepeda complete a classroom observation and was blown away with his insight into her needs. As a direct result of working with Ray, she has made tremendous gains in all areas of development. I will be forever grateful for his ongoing work with her and our family. During the three years he worked with my family, he has helped my daughter achieve success in all areas of development – emotional, cognitive, physical, behavioral, and academic. Ray is extremely direct and offers practical strategies for parents, children, and teachers for success in all domains. He serves as a liaison with the school and is a key contributor in all programming meetings. Ray is an exceptional teacher/ behaviorist/therapist. It is absolutely without question that my daughter and our family’s continued success is a direct product of working with Ray.” K.T., Manhasset, NY
“Ray has been a wonderful asset to our home program. His leadership skills have markedly improved our son’s home program and hence, have impacted on the quality of his life. Ray has been an integral part of our family. He began working with us when our son was just four years old. He is now nine and Ray continues to guide us through the terrain. He has supported us during the most difficult of times, during those moments when all we felt was despair. Ray is a very talented and resourceful behaviorist. I would recommend him to anyone who has a child with special needs.” R& R. Aghassi, NY
“I will never forget the first time I worked with Ray- he was called into a home where I was working 1 year prior with a well known consultant and their staff. They could not help my student discriminate simple questions, such as “What is it?” vs. “What color?” What the previous consultant couldn’t do Ray was able to implement a teaching procedure that taught these skills within weeks- Ray never stops amazing me- he always knows where he is heading his students and staff- It is a pleasure and a honor to work with him-Ray thank you for all you have done and continue to do- you are AMAZING!!+ Allison Roberts, MS. Ed
